IRIDEX's Laser Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO) offers superior treatment flexibility, consistency and reliability. Its TruFocus™ optical system allows for a greater working distance and diagnostic capabilities, while independent positioning of the laser within the illumination field provides efficient peripheral treatment. Designed to be lightweight and ergonomic, the system offers increased comfort during panretinal photocoagulations. The device also has dual wavelength capabilities, and a Large Spot (LS) LIO+ version is available that can represent a more efficient treatment modality than standard laser indirect, which an important consideration when treating patients such as certain retinopathy of prematurity infants.
