Photocoagulator Probes

A photocoagular probe is used to target the delivery of energy directly to where it is needed in the retina. The probes are normally available in a variety of gauges and models — including straight, curved, flexible curved and steerable — depending on what is needed by the surgeon. Many photocoagulator probes are compatible with various laser systems, and many are also designed with ergonomics in mind to help make them easier and more comfortable to use.

DescriptionThe G-Probe™ Glaucoma Device from IRIDEX performs transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (TSCPC) to lower IOP through selective ablation of the ciliary processes. This simple, yet effective, repeatable procedure can be performed in the office, operatingThe DioPexy probe is indicated for transscleral retinal photocoagulation (TSRPC) and has been shown to be a safe and effective means of creating chorioretinal adhesion during retinal detachment surgery. The shape of its tip automatically enables easyIRIDEX's EndoProbe Handpieces are designed to target the retina to deliver precise energy exactly where you need it. The EndoProbe Active Aspirating Handpiece combines the utility of active aspiration and endophotocoagulation into a single device, IRIDEX's EndoProbe Handpieces are designed to target the retina to deliver precise energy exactly where you need it. The EndoProbe Adjustable & Intuitive (Finger or Thumb) Handpieces use a patented design that allows for continuous adjustment of IRIDEX's EndoProbe Handpieces are designed to target the retina to deliver precise energy exactly where you need it. The dual-function EndoProbe Illuminating Laser Probes offer white-light illumination with laser delivery in one convenient design.
