Photocoagulator Probes

A photocoagular probe is used to target the delivery of energy directly to where it is needed in the retina. The probes are normally available in a variety of gauges and models — including straight, curved, flexible curved and steerable — depending on what is needed by the surgeon. Many photocoagulator probes are compatible with various laser systems, and many are also designed with ergonomics in mind to help make them easier and more comfortable to use.
