The indirect ophthalmoscope is crucial in determining the health of the retina and the vitreous humor. Enhanced views of the entire retina, optic disc and retinal blood vessels are particularly important in patients with Diabetes or Glaucoma. Hypertensive changes of the retina closely mimic those in the brain, and may predictive of cerebrovascular accidents. Below is a selection of currently available Binocular Indirects:
