Dr. Ying Pan of the Doheny Eye Institute was courteous enough to share with us a recent presentation done as part of ophthalmology grand rounds. MALT lymphoma is typically associated with the stomach. But, as you'll see here, it can even arise in the eye. This B-cell neoplasm is a type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that manifests in the marginal zone of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT). Hopefully the slides below will increase your awareness and diagnostic abilities regarding conjunctival cases of MALT lymphoma. - Ed.
