Sadiq Syed, MD
Dr. Sadiq Syed is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of retinal disease, practicing in Maryland since 2008. He is currently the medical director of Maryland Retina, a retina specialty practice with offices in
Carroll and Anne Arundel counties of Maryland. Dr. Syed grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and he attended University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonweath University. He completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at University of Florida in Jacksonville. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Maryland Society of Eye physicians and Surgeons.
