Ming Wang, MD, PhD
Ming Wang, MD, PhD, is founding director of Wang Vision Institute, a state-of-the-art laser vision surgery facility that opened in 2002 and is located in Nashville, TN. The center has gained an international reputation in
management of complications after LASIK vision correction surgery.
Dr Wang is Harvard and MIT educated (magna cum laude). His doctoral degree in laser physics makes him uniquely qualified to perform laser vision correction. Dr Wang introduced Intralase LASIK to Tennessee and is the inventor of a new biotechnology that is designed to restore vision in patients with reduced vision due to corneal disease. Dr Wang also serves as attending surgeon at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN, and is clinical associate professor of ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee.
