Eschenbach Optik
(Danbury, CT – November 30, 2011) SpecLights, a new clip-on LED light from Foster Grant distributed by Eschenbach, attaches to the bridge of eyewear providing additional illumination when there is little or no light available allowing users the ability to better complete a task such as reading a menu in a dimly lit restaurant. The SpecLights include two bright LED lights that run on two flat button-sized batteries and last up to 50 hours. The brightness is adjustable as either one or both of the LEDs can be activated using the unique two-step on/off switch. The lights are attached to a clip that has rubber-coated ‘legs’ that ensure the wearer’s lenses won’t get scratched and the clip has a unique design that lets the lights tilt up so they can be positioned to view objects at any viewing angle. A black, crush-proof, protective clam-shell case is included with the purchase of the SpecLights and a second set of batteries is included free-of-charge. The SpecLights are ideal not only for restaurants, but also for other low light situations such as reading in bed at night when the lights are off so as not to disturb others, reading maps in a car, working on hobbies, doing home repairs, or finding important items during a blackout.
