TearLab and Shire to Sponsor Annual ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight

The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Foundation recently announced TearLab and Shire will co-sponsor the fifth annual Run for Sight during the ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress.

Featuring both a 5K run and 1-mile walk, the 2017 ASCRS Foundation Run for Sight will take place at 6:30 am on Sunday, May 7th, and will begin and end at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The event will bring together ASCRS delegates and citizens of the city of Los Angeles to raise funds for the ASCRS Foundation. Over the past four years, Run for Sight has raised nearly $81,000 for ASCRS Foundation initiatives, including Operation Sight — a U.S.-based charitable cataract surgery program.

Race participants can register online or at the Run for Sight booth in the ASCRS Exhibit Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center during the ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress.
