Volk Optical recently announced it had upgraded its Volk iNview portable fundus camera to be compatible with iPhone® SE, as well as an improved app and internal optics for improved imaging.
According to Volk, the upgraded app provides support for the new iPhone SE, plus improves the quality of images taken with any compatible device. And the device's custom double aspheric glass optics have been optimized for even brighter, shaper images that can be especially helpful in patients with darker retinas.
The Volk iNview is an indirect ophthalmoscope lens attachment that is compatible with iPhone 5s, 6, 6s, SE, and iPod® Touch (Gen 6) models. It works in conjunction with the free Volk iNview app to take retinal images on dilated patients.
