Applications for ABB OPTICAL GROUP’s Third Annual ABB Cares Program Available August 1
Eye care professionals across the country are encouraged to nominate community organizations for grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (May 31, 2016) – ABB OPTICAL GROUP, one of the nation’s leading distributors of optical products, will begin accepting applications for its third annual ABB Cares program on Monday, August 1.
ABB Cares is open to eye care professionals who want to nominate an outstanding non-profit organization in their community. ABB OPTICAL GROUP will award an ABB Cares Platinum grant of $5,000, two Gold grants of $2,500 each, and four Silver grants of $1,000.
"Through ABB Cares, we can support those organizations that are recognized as difference makers by those in our industry,” said ABB OPTICAL GROUP CEO Angel Alvarez. “We are thrilled to highlight these non-profits and the eye care professionals who nominate them. Together they are making a positive impact in their local communities.”
Organizations do not need to focus on eye health to qualify. To be considered as a grant recipient, all candidates must comply with the following:
The organization must be a 501(c)(3) organization and must be able to provide proof of
The organization's local office must be within 30 miles of the nominating practice's
Applications must be completed and submitted online.
The deadline to submit an application is 11:59 p.m. EDT on August 31.
