 Discovery Eye Foundation Gives Gavin Herbert Eye Institute $2M for Cornea and Retina Centers

The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at UC Irvine was recently given $2 million by the Discovery Eye Foundation to establish cornea and retina programs dedicated to outreach and research.

The new Discovery Cornea Center and Discovery Retina Center will reportedly house the Discovery Eye Foundation's National Keratoconus Foundation and Macular Degeneration Partnership outreach programs, and are expected to offer even more up-to-date information about the causes, treatments and potential cures for keratoconus, macular degeneration and other sight-threatening diseases.
