Today, Optovue Inc. announced the launch of AngioVue™ Retina — a proprietary imaging system that gives retina specialists a non-invasive, dyeless way to quickly visualize blood flow in the retina.
Through the AngioVue Retina, retinal specialists are able to see the presence or absence of retinal blood vessels as well as assess the microvasculature, giving them the information they need to form a complete picture of a patient's disease state and treatment options. The device is configured with optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA) features designed specifically for retinal practices to allow adoption of OCT and OCTA into the clinical workflow with minimal disruption.
