D-EYE — producer of the D-EYE Smartphone-based Retinal Imaging System™ — has announced they will be exhibiting at this year's Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Conference, May 1-5, in Seattle, Wash.
The Retinal Imaging System is a low-cost, smartphone-based digital ophthalmoscope for use with iOS and Android devices. The system is positioned over the phone's camera lens and LED light source, allowing the phone to capture high-definition video and still images of the posterior of the eye. And the upcoming debut of D-EYE's ImageVault™ — a HIPAA-compliant “mobile-to-cloud” platform — will allow for sharing and archiving of D-EYE videos and still images for instant access by practitioners from anywhere.
