DescriptionMedpor Channel Implants, designed to accept rigid fixation plates, provide the surgeon with an excellent reconstructive option for major orbital wall and floor blowout defects. FeaturesThe plate may extend beyond both ends of the implant, if desired. The implant, with plate in position, allows the surgeon to bend and contour the material to the desired shape. The plates can be used to cantilever the implant over the orbital rim, if applicable.They may be customized to fit the individual patient by removing excess areas with a blade.
