Topcon Corporation has launched IMAGEnet Connect — a vendor-neutral ophthalmic workflow, image and data management system that seamlessly connects eye care devices and systems used in clinics for streamlined data management.
Designed to provide "efficiency in eye care," IMAGEnet Connect reportedly offers more functionality than a conventional PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). IMAGEnet Connect is compatible with more than 450 devices, and allows clinicians to view all clinical information on a single program for improved workflow management. The system's intelligent patient flow tracks progress from check-in to check-out, and it also provides statistics, integrated test interpretations, clinical remarks, and diagnosis and treatment plans all in an effort to optimize practice workflow and minimize patient waiting time.
