Volk Optical recently announced it had added Volk®1 Single Use 3-Mirror and 4-Mirror Gonio Lenses to its single use lens range.
Both of these Gonio Lenses have an image magnification of 1.0x and 1.0x laser spot. The 3-Mirror Gonio Lens is fashioned in the Goldmann style with mirrors accurately angled at 60°, 66°, and 76° to eliminate gaps in the visualized fundus. And the 4-Mirror Gonio Lens has its mirrors equally angled at 63° for visualization of the entire anterior chamber with only a slight rotation.
All Volk1 Single Use Gonio Lenses are designed to offer high resolution imaging of the anterior chamber angle, peripheral retina, and posterior pole in a sterile, molded acrylic lens body. They come pre-sterilized in individual Tyvek pouches to help eliminate the potential cross-contamination of infectious disease.
