ASG-200® Electrosurgical Generator
DRE Inc.
Features:
Power - 200 watt maximum output generator designed for any and every cautery or surgical procedure. IDS technology gives the surgeon the flexibility to consistently choose the type of effect he desires with maximum convenience and safety.
Cutting - The ASG-200 is equipped with a digitally controlled and regulated cutting effect. This innovative cut behavior can be utilized in a variety of procedures, from high-powered / high-impedance procedures (CUT I) to general applications (CUT II). Blended Cutting Mode with 10 blend settings.
Cut Mode – has a digitally controlled cutting quality that ensures performance when cutting adipose tissue or cutting underwater with minimal output power. The cut is precisely controlled by the unit.
Blend Mode – 10 blend settings in 6% increments combines cut and coag in a way that allows for greater flexiblity and customization. Maximum blend adjustment is 60% coag, 40% cut.
Coagulation – The ASG-200 Coagulation technology performs Monopolar, Pinpoint and Spray, and Bipolar. The coagulation technology performs Monopolar and Bipolar Coagulation effectively in every type of tissue and a variety of procedures. Digitally controlled Monopolar Coagulation effects include Pinpoint, a rapid desiccation effect without carbonization and less sticking of the electrode; and Spray, a slight penetration of the tissue surface which is very efficient for treatments like diffuse bleeding or tissue devitalization. In Bipolar Coagulation the digital technology reduces active electrode sticking by minimizing tissue carbonization.
Surgeon’s Preset Center – A preset center allows up to 10 surgeons to store their preferred power settings in the Cut, Coagulation, and Bipolar Modes.
Footswitch Indicator – A display on the front of the generator clearly indicates if one or two footswitches are connected, and to which outputs.
Safety - The ASG-200 Electrosurgery unit is digitally designed and has a variety of safety features built in. Bovie FDFS™ (Fast Digital Feedback System) – The digitally controlled CUT and COAG functions give a consistent clinical effect. Bovie NEM™ (Neutral Electrode Monitoring), Bovie FCFS™ (First Come First Served) – Discrete output design allows only one output device to be activated at any given time. Bovie DED™ (Digital Error Detection) – Unsurpassed safety for the surgeon, OR staff, and patient. At the sign of any problem, the unit instantly disables the output and displays the appropriate error code.
Plug & Play – The ASG-200 is ready to use: plug in the instrument; start to work. Calibration Free – The ASG-200 does not need any calibration due to its digital technology.
