Topcon Receives FDA Clearance for Aladdin Biometer with Corneal Topographer HW3.0

Topcon Medical Systems recently announced its Aladdin Biometer with Corneal Topographer HW3.0 has received U.S. FDA clearance for distribution in the United States.

This new version of the Aladdin Biometer with Corneal Topography incorporates lens thickness, central pachymetry, and a generic toric intraocular lens (IOL) calculator, expanding its capabilities. The built-in fully featured corneal topographer helps practitioners save time and adds accuracy to the IOL calculation measurements. And another feature of the HW3.0 is the use of low coherence interferometry to perform anterior chamber depth (ACD) measurements for a more precise reading. The device also features axial length (AL), lens thickness (LT), central corneal thickness or pachymetry (CCT), pupillometry and white to white measurement.
