The entire rim shape may be used or a portion of the rim may be cut with a scalpel to provide the necessary augmentation. These preformed shapes expedite the surgical procedure time by eliminating excessive carving and contouring of blocks and sheets. Meticulous detail in feathering the implant to the surrounding bone will provide the best aesthetic result. Two-point screw fixation is recommended to achieve initial stable reconstruction. Implants are provided sterile, packaged individually in double peel pouches. The entire rim shape may be used or a portion of the rim may be cut with a scalpel to provide the necessary augmentation.
