DescriptionMedpor® 2/3 Orbit implants are designed to replace non load bearing bony structures in the orbital area.Medpor Encophthalmos Wedge mimics the contour of the orbital floor and provides volume to restore the orbit to its normal shape and size.Medpor Channel Implants, designed to accept rigid fixation plates, provide the surgeon with an excellent reconstructive option for major orbital wall and floor blowout defects. The implant, with plate in position, allows the surgeon to bend and contour the material to the desired shape. The plates can be used to cantilever the implant over the orbital rim, if applicable.They may be customized to fit the individual patient by removing excess areas with a blade.
