The Leica M844 F40 with its new stand F19 contains three high precision mechanical friction brakes which allow on the one hand to homogenously move the arms and on the other hand to operate with a solid and stable microscope. The Leica M844 F19 carries the original APO Opti Chrome™ optics, stands on the same small footprint and holds the same Two-in-One display and XY unit like the Leica M844 F40.
