Dr. Kenneth Beckman
Dr. Beckman is Director of the Corneal Service at Comprehensive Eyecare of Central Ohio and a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at The Ohio State University. He completed a fellowship in corneal and anterior segment surgery at
Tulane University. Dr. Beckman specializes in cataract, cornea, and external disease, including treatment of keratoconus. He was an investigator in two clinical trials for corneal collagen cross linking for keratoconus and post lasik ectasia, and performed the first FDA approved corneal collagen cross linking treatment in Ohio. Dr. Beckman is a founding member and the first president of the Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery (CEDARS) Society, as well as a past president and treasurer of the Columbus Ophthalmology and ENT Society, and a past board member of Prevent Blindness Ohio.
