The VX65 digital phoropter is designed to tackle heavy workloads. In a market where a majority of refractions are still conducted using a manual phoropter, the VX65 also provides a smooth transition for eye care professionals (ECPs) looking to initiate digital refraction into their practice. It features a wireless tablet that allows operation at a safe distance from the patient which could be six feet away, next door—or even from a different office location. The VX65 provides an affordable refraction solution that meets social distancing requirements in patient care today.
The VX65 refraction tablet provides versatile options to enhance the experience for both new and advanced users. Practitioners can choose between “manual phoropter” or “auto- phoropter” modes, while controlling the entire refraction process from a hand-held tablet. For those not yet ready for a tablet, an optional ergonomic control panel is also available at an additional cost.
Converting to the VX65 digital phoropter provides ECPs with the opportunity to export refraction data to their electronic medical records (EMR) system with the touch of a button. In addition, data from external devices such as AR/K and lensmeters can be imported to the VX65, expediting workflow and reducing errors to provide full data management for the practice.
