The American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and pharmaceutical company Lupin Limited have announced an agreement to expand and enhance continuing ophthalmic education in India, an effort that is expected to reach 3,000 ophthalmologists in the country.
The collaboration would reportedly provide ophthalmologists access to several clinical education tools, including AAO's online clinical education resource, the Ophthalmic News and Education® (ONE) Network. Through the partnership, a new channel for distributing ONE Network content in India would reportedly be created, providing over 3,000 ophthalmologists across India with online access to the ONE Network to help them stay up to date on the latest developments in the industry.
