Precision ophthalmic instrument and device provider Katena Products recently announced the acquisition of NuPak Medical Ltd.
NuPak Medical is reportedly an ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered contract manufacturing service to the medical device industry. The company reportedly serves medical device manufacturers in several specialties, such as ophthalmology, and offers product assembly, packaging and injection molding in controlled environments.
The acquisition of NuPack will reportedly help strengthen Katena's manufacturing and new product development capability, allowing the company to better serve the ophthalmic community through an enhanced ability to develop innovative products focused on elevating eye care globally.

KATENA ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF NUPAK MEDICAL, LTD.
Denville, NJ – June 30, 2017 – Katena Products, a leading global provider of precision ophthalmic instruments, biologics, and devices to hospitals, surgical centers, and ophthalmic and optometric offices announces the purchase of NuPak Medical Ltd.
Founded in 1997 by founders David Cocke, Jerre Freeman, MD, and Curtis Freeman, NuPak Medical offers an ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered contract manufacturing service to the medical device industry. Services feature product assembly and packaging and injection molding in controlled environments. NuPak serves medical device manufacturers in several specialties including ophthalmology, and will continue to supply its existing customer base while exploring new business opportunities.
