Imprimis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. recently introduced its new patent-pending Simple Drops™ preservative-free glaucoma drops at the 2017 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) annual meeting earlier this week.
Simple Drops preservative-free drops reportedly provide multiple glaucoma medications in a single bottle, offering patients with a simple treatment option. Additionally, having multiple medications in one combination drop may reportedly increase patient compliance and reduce costs. Each formulation is reportedly provided in a uniquely-designed bottle with PureFlow® technology, which allows for a one-way valve system preventing the risk of contamination.
