 Glaucoma Research Foundation Launches $15M Fundraising Campaign, Earns 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator

The Glaucoma Research Foundation recently launched its new fundraising effort, The Cure is in Sight Campaign, and announced it has earned a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.

The Cure is in Sight Campaign is reportedly the Foundation's most ambitious fundraising effort to date, and aims to raise $15 million to fund advancements in glaucoma research and support educational programs for patients and eye doctors.

With more than $10 million raised to date during the campaign's initial quiet phase, the goal is reportedly to complete The Cure is in Sight Campaign by June 2018 to coincide with the Foundation's 40th anniversary.

And the foundation has earned a 4-star rating from independent charity evaluator Charity Navigator.  The 4-star rating is reportedly Charity Navigator’s highest rating, indicating that “Glaucoma Research Foundation exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its Cause.” This is the Foundation's fourth time earning this top distinction in the last six years.
