Paragon Vision Sciences Announces Partnerships to Advance Myopia Education

Paragon Vision Sciences recently announced it has entered into a series of educational partnerships with several leading research institutions and organizations devoted to advancing eye care practitioner (ECP) education about myopia.

Through the partnerships, Paragon is reportedly expanding its commitment to provide ECPs globally with clinical expertise, strategies and resources to help treat and prevent potential myopia-related ocular complications and vision loss.

The partnerships include:

  • The Myopia Control Clinic at University of California, Berkley (UCB) — Paragon will work with the Myopia Control Clinic to develop educational programs to provide current and future ECPs with the most up-to-date research and treatment options for myopia.
  • The Vision Research Institute (VRI) at the Michigan College of Optometry — Paragon and VRI will work to develop educational tools focused on employing technology to simplify the effective and efficient diagnosis and fitting of orthokeratology and specialty contact lenses in general eye care practices.
  • Scleral Lens Education Society — Paragon will work with the Scleral Lens Education Society to develop non-product related educational programs at The Paragon Education and Training Academy.
  • International Academy of Orthokeratology — Paragon will collaborate with the International Academy of Orthokeratology on an educational series devoted to myopia management.
