Independent private investment company Ardian has reportedly acquired a majority stake in refractive and therapeutic corneal surgery specialists SCHWIND eye-tech-solutions GmbH & Co. KG.
Under terms of the acquisition, the Schwind family will reportedly retain a significant interest in the company and Rolf Schwind will continue on as CEO. Ardian reportedly plans to further expand SCHWIND's position as a global leader in its field by investing in the further development of its existing laser systems and expansion of its product range.
