Eschenbach Optik
(Ridgefield, CT – November 31, 2009) Do your computer users complain that their readers are too strong for the screen or too weak for their desk and keyboard? Do your presbyopes carry or wear multiple pairs of readers to view objects of different sizes or at different distances? Eschenbach’s new progressive reader, the MiniFrame 2, will allow your presbyopes to use just one pair of readers for all their near point needs!
Available in 5 different powers (1D, 1.5D, 2D, 2.5D and 3D) and two colored frames (gold and gun metal), the MiniFrame 2 is a ”progressive reader” that increases in power by a full diopter from the top of the lens to the bottom. For example, the 2D pair provides 1D magnification at the top of the lens and then slowly increases to 2D at the bottom. Because of this multi-focal design, the MiniFrame 2s are great for training future progressive Rx wearers.
The MiniFrame 2 is perfect for viewing a computer monitor, keyboard and objects next to the computer (see diagram), and for reading both the front page of a newspaper along with the stocks or box scores!
