See Diagnostic Power Of Volk Lenses At AOA

Volk Optical

H-R Wide Field Lens delivers detailed pan retinal views

Mentor, Ohio (April 28, 2009) – Volk Optical, the industry leader in aspheric optics, will be exhibiting at the 112th AOA Congress, June 25 through 27 at the Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center in Washington D.C.

Stop by Volk’s booth for an eye-opening demonstration of a new contact lens for retinal exams. Volk’s H-R Wide Field provides a superior view to the non-contact slit lamp, BIO, and mirrored lenses traditionally used for retinal exams. Distortion-free across the entire viewing area, the lens’ extremely wide field capability provides highly detailed views to visualize retinal tears or lesions across the entire retinal surface, all the way to the ora serrata. No non-contact lens exam method is able to achieve this level of image clarity and detail.

Also of interest at the show will be Volk’s Digital non-contact lenses for both slit lamp and BIO use. The lenses assure optical quality and maintain linear image magnifications and image clarity across the entire field of view. The Digital High Mag® delivers true 3D views of the posterior pole, while the Digital Wide Field® offers the widest, high resolution field of view imaging past the vortex.

In addition to the lenses listed above, Volk’s exhibit at booth 1110 will feature its entire line of diagnostic ophthalmic lenses, equipment, and accessories. Products to purchase and take home will be available at special show incentive pricing.

For more information on these and other Volk lenses and equipment, visit the company’s booth at the AOA, go to www.volk.com, or phone Volk at 1-800-345-8655.
