optomap® Retinal Exam was featured on CBS The Doctors a popular daytime talk show syndicated throughout North America, which according to a recent article in
The New York Times, draws an average of 2 million viewers.
The segment, which aired February 12, 2009, touted the optomap® Retinal Exam as “a high tech eye exam that predicts your medical future.” Kerry Assil, MD of Assil Eye Institute, Los Angeles, a frequent guest on the show said “The optomap® Retinal Exam was the perfect instrument for viewers to see images of what a retina looks like, either healthy or having disorders ranging from diabetes to melanoma.
