San Francisco — During their 31st anniversary benefit Jan. 28, the Glaucoma Research Foundation (GRF) will honor two physicians for their contributions to glaucoma research. The President’s Award will be presented to Rohit Varma, MD, from the Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, for his groundbreaking research related to the Latino community being among those at the highest risk for developing glaucoma.
