LASIK with ablation centered on the corneal vertex produced visual, optical and refractive outcomes comparable to those of LASIK centered on the pupil. The study included two groups of eyes with myopic astigmatism: 24 eyes of 16 patients underwent LASIK with eyes centered on the corneal vertex, and 29 eyes of 19 patients underwent LASIK with eyes centered on the pupil center.
