The treatment of posterior uveitis has traditionally involved corticosteroids, typically orally or intravenously.[1] Other immunomodulators may become necessary in patients with inflammation that cannot be adequately controlled or in patients who need prolonged therapy or become intolerant of corticosteroids. Unfortunately, topical or local therapy may not be sufficient to control posterior segment inflammation in many patients
