The February issue of the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (Volume 34, Issue 2, Pages 330-333) highlights a case report by Drs. Irene Kuo, Nada Jabbur, and Terrence O'Brien. The authors describe their experiences treating two patients with visually significant flap striae, resistant to standard measures including stretching, suturing, and PRK. These patients were treated with wavefront-guided PRK and MMC. The visual symptoms in both patients resolved were stable 1 year later suggesting this may be a viable option for difficult cases.
