Bausch + Lomb recently launched an enhanced version of its Pinnacle 360™ line of single-use instruments in an effort to meet the needs of the retina community.
The new instruments reportedly feature a new piston redesigned to provide smooth, consistent actuation, as well as strong, thinner internal limiting membrane (ILM) forceps to give surgeons excellent visualization down to the tissue as they engage it. And the Pinnacle 360 instruments are now color-coded according to B+L's standard gauge size identification, making it easier for surgical staff to select the appropriate instrument for improved efficiency.
B+L will reportedly have the new Pinnacle 360 instruments on-hand at their booth at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting next week in Chicago for attendees to test out.
