The Macular Degeneration Association (MDA) will participate in the 2016 Giving Challenge with the goal of raising $5,000 for the purchase of low vision equipment.
Run by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, this year's Giving Challenge will start at noon on September 20, 2016 and will end at noon on September 21, 2016. Last year, the event reportedly raised more than $7 million in 24 hours to benefit 449 nonprofits.
All donations will be matched and a link will be provided on September 20th for online donations. Follow MDA on Facebook for the link.
