Volk Optical recently launched its new Singh MidVitreous Lens, designed to provide doctors with high resolution views to improve treatment efficiency and patient comfort during laser vitreolysis treatment.

The new lens — which was developed in collaboration with Dr. Inder Paul Singh — was specifically designed for elimination of vitreous strands or opacities in the near & central mid-vitreous. It has a 1.16x image magnification, .86x laser spot, and uses laser energy. It also has a compact design allowing it to be used with children and patients with small eyes, and has a small flanged contact increases patient comfort by providing stability throughout vitreolysis, which typically lasts longer than other laser procedures.
