Eyenuk, Inc. recently announced receipt of the CE Mark and the launch of the second generation of its EyeArt fully automated diabetic retinopathy (DR) screening software.
The launch is supported by a new study of the EyeArt 2.0, which reportedly demonstrated 98.3 percent sensitivity in identifying potentially treatable patients with severe non-proliferative or proliferative diabetic retinopathy, and/or the presence of surrogate markers for clinically significant macular edema (CSME).
EyeArt 2.0 reportedly provides diabetic retinopathy screening in one office visit, including imaging, grading and reporting in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
