International Space Station Crew Members Return to Earth After Finishing Ocular Health Studies

Three International Space Station crew members returned to Earth this past Saturday after finishing up several NASA research studies in human health, including ocular health.

The crew members reportedly completed the in-flight portion of the NASA studies, which included gathering data that could be used in the treatment of patients with ocular diseases such as glaucoma. The human health studies would reportedly not only benefit people on Earth, but were also conducted to help NASA prepare for human long-duration space exploration.
