Start-up Medella Health, a company that is currently developing a smart contact lens that can monitor patient glucose levels via smartphone, has reportedly raised $1.4 million from various investors.
Found in 2013, Medella Health's contact lens product reportedly uses a chip, small sensor and micro-antenna built into the contact lens that can help patients track their glucose levels throughout the day, providing them insights they need for their daily activities.
