Ophthalmic Women Leaders Announces Finalists for Annual Awards

Voting is now open

Washington, DC – March 27, 2014 – Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL) has announced it will honor three award winners during its signature “OWL Monday” reception and program held in conjunction with the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons Meeting in Boston. The reception will be held Monday, April 28 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel, in the Atlantic Ballroom.

Three awards will be presented at the reception:

Visionary Woman Award

The Visionary Woman Award honors a woman who has paved the way for other women in her field through significant professional achievement. Finalists:

The Catalyst Award honors an individual who has demonstrated leadership in supporting the advancement of women. Finalists:

The “OWL Monday” reception and program will begin with networking over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Following the cocktail reception, the program features a panel discussion moderated byc (Link Consulting) with panelists Audrey Talley Rostov, MD (Northwest Eye Surgeons), Murthy Simhambhatla, PhD (Abbott Medical Optics) and Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS (SLACK Incorporated), and the presentation of the winners of OWL's 2014 Visionary Woman Award, Catalyst Award and Rising Star Award.
