PHOROPTOR® and Illuminated PHOROPTOR®
The Ultramatic RX Master PHOROPTOR® has become the industry standard in refraction, due to its durable design, and ease of use. The smooth rotation of the dials, precise, solid click of the control knobs, and a virtual absence of play in the mechanisms make the PHOROPTOR the most reliable choice for any practice.
The PHOROPTOR features anti-reflective coated lenses for superior light transmission and synchronized cross cylinders that turn in unison with the axis dials, a feature pioneered by Reichert. The PHOROPTOR is completely sealed in front and back to prevent dust and debris from entering the unit. Every unit comes with accessory lenses and case, a near-point Rotochart, and reading rod with cardholder, and extra face shields.
The Illuminated PHOROPTOR provides all of the features of the original PHOROPTOR, but with the additional benefit of illuminated dials to ensure acquisition of accurate refractions in the darkened environment of the exam room. The utilization of cool, efficient white LEDs eliminates the need to replace bulbs and the adjustable rheostat allows for personalized adjustment of the brightness level. ClearChart®
The Reichert ClearChart is part of the newest generation of visual acuity testing devices, providing comprehensive vision testing tools in a sleek, compact device.
Featuring an all-in-one 15-inch flat panel LCD, the ClearChart can be mounted on a wall bracket or set on an optional table stand. The infrared remote can be used anywhere in the exam room, providing added convenience. The ClearChart is easy to use, without having to navigate operating systems or software. It is purpose-built for acuity testing, using solid-state memory, with no moving parts, making the ClearChart more reliable than hard drive based systems.
The ClearChart system is a complete acuity testing device offering a broad range of optoptypes, Snellen chart, Allen letters, ETDRS, contrast sensitivity testing, random sequencing, and animation. The crisp, bright display allows visual acuity testing in dim or room lighting.
The monitor can be configured for different exam room sizes, from short to long refracting distances, in direct or mirrored configurations, making it ideal for any exam room.

In an effort to create a contemporary, functional lane package, Reichert developed the Advantage Ophthalmic Chair; combining unparalleled styling and detail with the ease of operation practitioners have come to expect from a Reichert product. Available in both manual recline and tilt models, the affordable and durable Advantage Chair is ergonomically designed and can be elevated and lowered using the footswitch, stand console, or lower instrument arm.
