The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) recently developed a web-based questionnaire to help assess LASIK patients' symptoms before and after surgery.
For the development of the online questionnaire, the FDA reportedly partnered with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Defense (DoD) in an effort to more fully capture the patient experience with LASIK. The survey reportedly includes scientifically validates questions to help assess patient expectations, symptoms and satisfaction, and includes definitions and images to help patients answer the best they can.
The LASIK questionnaire is available online on the FDA's website.
