  • Heidelberg Engineering plans to launch its recently FDA-cleared SPECTRALIS® OCT Glaucoma Module Premium Edition during the AAO meeting. The new instrument reportedly provides a comprehensive analysis of the optic nerve head, retinal nerve fiber layer, and ganglion cell layer by precisely matching unique scan patterns to the fine anatomic structures relevant in glaucoma diagnostics. Heidelberg also will be hosting an educational session about the new glaucoma module at the AAO meeting. Titled "Enhanced Detection and Clinical Assessment in Glaucoma Management," the session will be held in the Technology Pavilion in the exhibit hall on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 3:30pm.
  • Bausch + Lomb will have its new Pinnacle 360™ line of single-use instruments on-hand at their booth for AAO attendees to test out.
