Health information technology company Modernizing Medicine, Inc. recently launched a number of enhancements to its EMA™, modmed Ophthalmology’s™ EHR system, as well as an interface with FlexSys for an optical inventory solution.
New enhancements for the mobile, cloud-based EHR system including advanced tasking management for better patient care communication management and an auditable system to manage workflow communications and patient follow-ups. Additionally, users can now reorder or remove impressions, plans and tests that don’t pertain to them or based on preference and subspecialty.
Modernizing Medicine also announced its EMA system can interface with FlexSys for the passing of both demographic and optical refraction data. Practices can now use the FlexOptical™ system as an ecommerce platform for their optical dispensary.
