PASCAL® Dynamic Contour Tonometer from Ziemer Group

Description

The PASCAL Dynamic Contour Tonometer (DCT) measures IOP without influence from corneal thickness and is unaffected by LASIK and other refractive procedures. It was designed to eliminate the need for thickness calculations. The PASCAL also determines Ocular Pulse Amplitude (OPA) which has been correlated to glaucoma risk. OPA measurement with report and analysis was given a CPT code (0198T) on January 1, 2009.

PASCAL’s communicate via blue tooth to supplied subnotebook computers that have OPA analysis DataWizard software. The software generates the report required for implementation of the new CPT code.
