Registration is now open for the 2017 annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) and the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), which will be held May 5-9, 2017, at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
This year's event will feature internationally-renowned presenters, such as U.S. Astronaut and Retired Navy Captain Scott Kelly; keynote speaker Dan Thurmon; distinguished glaucoma and cataract surgery expert Reay H. Brown; prominent ophthalmologist Dr. Boris Malyugin; and former senator Dr. Tom Coburn. The conference will also include three pre-meeting subspecialty days on Friday, May 5th — ASCRS Glaucoma Day, Cornea Day, and ASCRS Refractive Day.
Each year, the ASCRS•ASOA Symposium & Congress draws about 7,000 ophthalmologists, practice administrators, nurses, technicians and staff from nearly 100 countries.
